I had lots of grand kid time. We went to KTR Gym and the Botanical Gardens Butterfly Fest, hiked ASU butte, and had a picnic or two. Not sure how relaxing it was, but it was very special and fun.
I really missed my 5th grade kidos and am looking forward to seeing them tomorrow.
Here is some information for the upcoming week:
Math: We will begin our unit on Volume - I suggest students begin reviewing nightly by really concentrating on their homework and to make the concepts stick do a little math, then switch to other homework and then do some more math and try do to a few of the Textbook 9 review problems nightly.
Grammar/writing: We will be reviewing for the AZMerit test and diagraming sentences.
Science: Beginning study of the muscular system - I suggest, beginning right away, students nightly review terms and vocabulary from their daily notes.
